For Sukkos 2024 Chol Hamoed lands on Shabbos through Tuesday with Wednesday being that extra flex day. For the purposes of this article we'll use the dates October 20-22.
How you'll get to Atlanta:
Atlanta is a major international airport. Thus, every airline has flights to there multiple times a day. You wanna get an early flight in so you have time to settle in and get to one attraction. And for the return you can do an evening flight, so you can head to the airport straight from your last attraction. Below are two options using points and miles from LGA to ATL.
JetBlue:
With its spacious seating, complimentary snacks, and in-flight entertainment options, JetBlue ensures a comfortable and enjoyable journey for families. The airline also offers pre-boarding for families with small children, allowing ample time to settle in and prepare for the flight ahead.
Round trip for one person would cost about $213 using cash. JetBlue has conveniently timed flights for 16,600 points plus $11.20 (taxes and fees) round trip per person:

2. Southwest:
Southwest Airlines is another fantastic option. With its open seating policy, families can sit together without the stress of assigned seating arrangements. Southwest also offers a generous baggage policy, allowing families to bring along essentials without extra fees. Additionally, the airline provides complimentary snacks and beverages, keeping both parents and kids satisfied during the flight.
Southwest has similarly timed flights for a similar price in points plus taxes and fees:

Both Southwest and JetBlue are transfer partners of Chase. This card allows you to transfer your Chase points quickly and easily.
Where you'll stay:
Walking distance to attractions you have several great options. The one that stands out is Hyatt Regency Atlanta. Hyatt House Atlanta/Downtown and Hyatt Place Atlanta/Centennial Park are two other options.
Each of these will require 21,000 Hyatt points for the two nights. You can transfer Chase points from this card to Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio.
Hyatt Regency can fit up to 4 people in a standard room. Although it is a 1-2 minute longer walk to attractions, it is closer to the train station, making it convenient to get to from the airport, as discussed later on.

Hyatt House Atlanta/Downtown also has slightly smaller rooms. You can fit 4 people in a standard room. Their pool area is gorgeous!

While the Hyatt Place Atlanta/Centennial Park has a sleeper sofa area and can fit up to 6 people in a standard room. Hyatt Place is the closes to the area attractions.

All of these are walking distance (~5-10 minutes) to World of Coca Cola, Georgia Aquarium, and The Children’s Museum of Atlanta. Read more about these attractions plus more in Atlanta here.
How you'll get around:
You really do not need a car! Parking is $45 with the exception of the Hyatt Regency, at $55. You can easily get to your hotel from the airport using the metro. We did that when we were there the first time. It's right off the airport and super easy to navigate using Google Maps.
The kosher eateries are a drive away. You can opt to Uber once to stock up on food, or bring along your own food.
Where you'll eat:
Atlanta does not have a shortage of Kosher food options.
-The Spicy Peach Supermarket carries all Kosher items you may desire over a two day trip. The owners are super sweet and helpful when I messaged them on Instagram.
-Toco Grill is a great little burger and shnitzel establishments. We ate here twice on our latest trip and ordered almost every item off the menu. The shnitzel was crispy, the fries were perfectly seasoned, the burgers were juicy and the shawarma was legit! Highly recommend for the value and quality of what you get.
-Fuego Mundo is an authentic South American meat restaurant offering Kosher food. Their dinner menu includes steaks, fries, Israeli food and soups.
-Formaggio Mio is a dairy lunch spot. We grabbed lunch here on our last day in Atlanta, on the way to the airport. We ordered a wide range of items, from sandwiches to pizza to salads. The food was solid and portions were large. Great spot to grab breakfast or lunch.
-Walmart carries a ton of kosher food items in addition to the regular things you can get there like fruits, vegetables and drinks. We utilized their delivery service to have a huge order delivered right as we arrived.
What you'll do:
For detailed info on attractions in Atlanta, see this post. Below is a simple itinerary for this trip.
Since you'll land around midday on Sunday, you'll likely only have time for a smaller attraction. The World of Coca Cola is perfect for this. You really don't need more than 2 hours in there and with their unique tasting room, it's sure to kick your trip off to a great start!
On Monday you will visit the Georgia Aquarium. The Georgia Aquarium is huge with lots of cool fish and animals to see. It's so expansive that you'll want to spend the whole day there with your kids. That way, you won't have to rush through the various exhibits.
Finally on Tuesday, you'll pack up early and check out of your hotel. You'll then head to the Children's Museum of Atlanta. Here, your little ones can explore a variety of interactive exhibits designed to stimulate their creativity and curiosity. Geared for ages 0-8, you can expect to spend 2-3 hours at the museum. That leaves you with enough time to grab dinner and get to the airport in time for your evening flight.
